The original building, a one-story welding shop had been altered to add a second floor within a gambrel roof system.  In rehabilitating this building we removed the gambrel, which seemed inappropriate at this location and gave the building a fresh skin, roof, look and rearranged interior.  We also added-on to the rear.  We created a front to back lobby at the location of the old garage bay of the welding shop—abstractly calling to mind its first use while giving the building a new, upscale purpose.
